Dental opinions, on having fillings done.
I would say that over all I do not like going to the dentist since every time I seem to go I have a bad experience. However knowing it was a little past time for me to see a dentist I went for my dental check up about a month ago and was told that I needed to have two small cavities filled.
So I did make a dental appointment with a dentist for the fillings, but not really liking the first dentist I went to a different dentist. Where I told her what I was told about needed two small cavities done. At which point the new dentist stated to me that she does not see any cavities that are in need of filling
I have to say I am very frustrated. Sure it is good news not to need the fillings but why would a dentist tell me I need to have fillings done where another one says she see no need for fillings?

Dentist are different and some are more pro active then others. It is possible to get a second opinion and have them be different. That does not mean that one dentist is wrong and the other is right.
You just need to do what you think is best for yourself. If you decide not to have any filling done now cool. However, maybe go back to the dentist a little more often just to make sure if there is small cavities they have not gotten any bigger.

It happens could be the one telling you that you do not have any cavities could be wrong. You will need to make a judgment call. However if you have not been to the dentist in a long time I do not find it hard to believe you may have cavities.
