With any job you may have things that are the same all the time. Whether or not your a dental hygienist. What would be different are the people that come in.
If you are people person that like dealing with people then dental hygienist may be a fun job. Also school is school there can be stress in it like anything else.
The questions you may like ask yourself is what else would you ratter be doing.

It is like any job it has it ups and down. The key is finding and office that you like working in. You need to like working with people and have people skills since you are dealing with people all day.
School is not any harder to go though if it what you want to do. It sounds as if you have some doubts then really start giving some thought in the direction you want to go in.
