Dental care, Is it safe to super glue a crown back on
Yesterday one of my crowns came off. My tooth does not hurt and the crown is not bent or messed up in any way. I want to know if it is safe to just super glue the crown back on? I am too poor to afford to go to the dentist and this country is totally screwed up as far as providing good low cost dental care to people who are in need.

You can try it. I known a friend that did super glue his crown back on and it did not kill him. I am not sure about how good an idea it is to really do that though.
I hope if you do that you never get a cavity under the crown. But if you think this country is so bad with dental care for the poor do what you think is best.

Well I am going to dis agree with you about dental care. I find it upsetting that some people think that they should get free dental care because they are low income.
Yet they never even try and find a way to make dental care more affordable. Well why should you if you are wanting everything for free? Go to a dental clinic and a dental school and maybe you will get lucky and have some free dental care from there.
Other wise go ahead and super glue your crown on. Not a very smart thing to do but then I know how costly it can be to go out and by a $10.00 dental plan so you can afford having some dental care.

I understand where you are coming from. Many dental clinics are closing due to lack of funding and state help is cutting back due to budget cuts. We are in difficult times and it can be tough getting though them.
Since you have your crown and you stated it was not damaged try going to a dentist just to have them re cement it back on. That should not be too costly and it will be put back on correctly.
I do not think that super gluing the crown back on is a good idea. True it may not harm you but what if you needed to take it off in the future? Then it could become a real problem.
