Dental help, Where can I go to get braces removed
This may seem odd but about three years ago I had braces put on. At the time I had them on I had dental insurance However a year into the treatment and I lost my job and had to get a new one that did not offer me dental insurance.
I started having problems with the Orthodontic dnetal office since they started charging me full price and back charging me saying they never go the money from my insurance. It was many phone calls and much hassle but I prove them wrong. However, they would not continue with my brace care unless I pay them in full for the remaining cost which I did not have.
Little to say I left and never went back, but had these braces on me ever since and never had them adjusted. Now I have dental insurance again but they will not cover me for my braces either since this is preexiting to them. I am at the point that I just want them off. I just not sure where to go to get them off?

I can see the circle that you are caught in. Is is hard but your current dental insurance will not get in the middle of your current braces. Well at least not normally.
I would suggest calling them and asking them this. If you paid to have the braces removed. How long to do you have to wait to have new braces started and be covered under your plan. That is guessing you would like to have your teeth fixed and that you would be able to keep this current dental plan long term.
For getting the braces off you would still be able to go to an orthodontic dental office to remove the current braces. You may be able to get some help with a dental discount plan and save some money on the cost of removal. I would look into them and see.

I would think that any Orthodontic dental office could remove the current braces you have. I would call around to what you may have locally in your area and see what kind of cost it would be to remove the braces.
