Dental Opinions, Abscessed tooth infection what can I do about it.
I have a back tooth that has a cavity. I known about it for the past year or so since I can feel the hole with my tongue. I also get food stuck in it once in a while which really hurts. I was putting up with it because I have no job and no real money.
I just do odd jobs when I can. However now I think that I may have an infection going on by it because it has really been hurting lately and my mouth has a bad taste to it. What can I do besides going to the dentist. How can I clear up an infection?

No matter what you do on your own, only going to a dentist will fix your teeth issue completely. So I would still advise you to go to a dentist.
Now I can understand cost issues. There are places you can go for lower cost dental care as well as you can get dental plans to also reduce and make dental care more affordable to you.
Places to go: Dental Schools, Dental Clinics and look for any state programs that may help you.
Plans to get: Low cost dental insurance plans would be HMO dental insurance plans. There are many good low cost HMO dental insurance plans that you can look into.
Dental Discount plans. Dental discount plans would be effective with in the next business day of purchase. They too are also low cost plan that will help reduce all your dental needs.
Additional advise: Try to find a dentist willing to work with you and one that will offer a payment plan. There are still a few left they will help you. You only need to call around until you find one.

If you do not have a dental clinic near you then get an HMO dental plan so that you can be able to see a dentist at an affordable cost.
In the mean time. Keep your mouth as clean as possible. It may hurt some but wash your mouth out with warm salt water or a strong mouthwash. You want to kill the germs that in the possible infection. If you have any medical care see if you can get some antibiotics from your doctor this will help clear up any infection you may have.
