California Cosmetic Dental Services, Why will dental insurance not help me?
Why is it that dental insurance will not cover for dental implants? I do not see how implants are cosmetic dental services when someone needs to have teeth. I have dental insurance though my job and they will not cover me for any thing other the a bridge or partial.
So I have to have cheap fake teeth in order to have any coverage under my current dental insurance plan. I was upset when I was told this but my dental office. They told me this is standard with many dental insurance companies not covering for dental implants.
I need five implants so we are talking over $5000 worth of dental work. What can I get if not dental insurance that will help me out here with having implants?

May I suggest that you review another dental plan option. Reveiw our dental discount plans choices. They will give you 15 – 20 percent off the cost of dental implants if there is a provider that does that type of dental service.
Based on $5000.00 that would be a saving of $750 – $1000. for a dental plan that only cost $7.95 – $9.95 a month that is a deep discounted savings to you.

Your dentist is correct many dental insurance plan will not offer coverages for dental implants. They are just too costly for them to insured.
They do fall under cosmetic dental services because you still can have a lower cost dental service like dental bridges partials and dentures.
Your best bet for any savings off the cost of dental implants are dental discount plans. Make sure you find a dental discount plan that has a dentist in the plan that does implants before buying one.
