Rhode Island dental care, and dental fears. First I am thinking about getting one of your dental discount plan that you offer in Rhode Island. I have not been to a dentist in over four years because if major dental fears. I know I need to start going because I am starting to have some issues with my teeth hurting. So will getting a dental discount plan help me with controlling my cost?
Also I would like some advise in controlling my dental fears. They are real and prevents me from wanting me to go regardless of the on and off pain I am having. A friend of mine told me I should get stoned before going that way I will be really relax but I would think that a dentist would know this and then not work on me. Any other advise?
Do dentists notice any differences when working with stoned patients?

Well any of our dental insurance dental discount will help you control your dental cost. Being some what scared of dentist is normal many people are. The think to keep in mind is that is should not stop you from getting the dental care you need to have in order to have good oral health.
Tell the dentist about your fears and concerns they will be able to address them as they help you take care of your oral health.

Steven is correct we have dental plan that will help you out on your dental cost. It is also a good idea to let the dentist know ahead of time that you have dental fears that need to be address. This let the dentist know to take things a little slower with you and to address your fears as they come up.
Another good why to help you address your dental fears is taking you ID or head phones with you and listen to your music. By relaxing as much as you can it will help re leave your fears some

I have some dental fears my self. I hate all the noises that goes on when you are having your teeth worked on so I do list to my music and I even ware a sleep mask which really helps out alot.
