Should I get a dental discount plan?
Should I get a dental discount plan? I live in New York and the my problem is right now I do not have dental insurance or benefits though a job. I living on my own just skating by each month. I worry that I am starting to have some teeth issues that should be address.
I do not have much money and I am finding dental insurance to costly is a dental discount plan the only option when you do not have much money? are they worth getting? Do not know much about them but they do seem affordable.

Another dental insurance plan option would be review the dental HMO plan we do offer in New York call Healthplex. This is a very afford dental insurance plan that does not have all the plan limitations that the PPO plans come with.
You will however need to choose a dentist in the plan network of providers. So like the dental discount plans make sure you have a dental office you want to go under the plan and call and confirm that they are still accepting the plan and new members.
