Dental Insurance needed for TMJ treatment
Dental Insurance needed for TMJ treatment. I have TMJ and I need to find a dental insurance plan that offer benefits for the treatment of TMJ. I am 26 and may need to have braces. However plan current dental plan does not offer benefits for TMJ issues. I need to do something since I wake up every morning with my jaw locking and hurting me on and off though out the day. Do you have any dental plans that can help me. I live in Washington if that is helpful to you. Thanks .

It may be hard for you to find dental insurance that does offer coverages for TMJ treatment. Many do not and then there is another issue with regards to braces. Many dental insurance plans do not offer coverages for adult braces. Many sure you read the terms of each plan carefully to make sure you are going to get the benefits you are looking for.

My suggestion would be getting a dental discount plans in order to off set your dental cost. Age is not a factor with regards to a dental discount plan and as long as there is a dentist in the plan that does the dental services you will be needing you will get the reduce or discounted cost for those services.
