Braces and Wisdom Teeth Extractions, Getting the Right Dental Plan. My 17 year old son needs to have braces and before he can have them put on the dentist wants us to have his wisdom teeth pulled. Our dental insurance will not cover the extractions since a specialist will have to pull the wisdom teeth nor does will our current dental plan cover for braces. I am at lost as how to go about paying for all this work without dental insurance help.

Individual dental insurance plans for minors in California.  I have two boys that live in California and I live in Washington.  I need to get them dental insurance but I am not sure if I have to buy two dental plan on for each child or if I can buy just one for both of them.  I do not want to get a dental insurance where I have to include the X she has her own dental.  Can you please advise

Dental opinions regarding braces the dos and don’t to braces:  I am new to having to have braces on in fact I just got them a little over a week ago.  Now I get the basic not to eat hard sticky candy.  But I like some more advise I want to make sure when I out of braces my teeth look great.  Please give me some more dos and don’t about braces.

New Hampshire dental care and braces, I haven’t wore my retainer in a while:  So I got my braces removed about a year ago and I was to ware a retainer 24/7 except when eating.  However, I would go a few days here or there not waring it like I should.  But for the most part I would have it in like I should since my mom would always get on me about it.

I have two son one who is 13 and another that is 15.  I was told by their dentist the both should be in braces for overbite issues.   I am not sure this is too important to me.  Having to pay for braces on not one but two kids would be ver costly at a time when we are trying to save money.

I have a 12 year old daughter that I am told needs to have braces for a overbite.  The dentist told me it does not have to be done right away but if I wanted to correct her bite I would need to go to an Orthodontic dentist so she can have braces.

I missed placed my retainer that I have to wear every day except for when I am eating.  I take it out once in a while to go to sleep to, if they are bugging me and I can not go to sleep with them.  Other then that I left them in as advised.

Hello I live in Maine with just my son and I.  I was told by my son dentist that he will be needing braces for his over crowding issue.  I want to get him braces so he can have nice teeth.  I know what it is like to have good strong teeth but have them still look messed up because they are crooked.

I am 25 and I have a gap in the top front part of my teeth.  Not right in the middle but a little over. I really do not like it but at 25 I do not want to get braces.  Besides my dental insurance would not cover adult braces.   Is there any other way to fix a gap without having to be in metal braces for years?  Please advise would love to hear other suggestions.

I have a girl friend that say she has an overbite and she feels she very unattractive because of it.   She is 16 and is upset that her parents will not let her have braces to correct her bite.   I do not see it myself.  I really try and tell her no one can see that she has an overbite but she said she looks like a rabbit.

Maine braces and aftercare  of teeth.   I am so happy that I am finely getting my braces off after more the three years of having them.  I will have a retainer for a while yet but that is so much better.  What I wanted to know is I worried that my teeth under the braces will be a little whiter then the part of the teeth that was showing making my teeth two tone in color.

I am looking for dental insurance that will offer some coverage for adult braces.  I live in TX and have an over bite.  I was never able to have corrected when I was a child since my parents could not afford braces for me.   I am now an adult and would like to take care of fixing my bite but I am finding it  hard to find a dental plan that will cover any part of adult braces.  Can you help suggest something for me?

This may seem odd but about three years ago I had braces put on.   At the time I had them on I had dental insurance However a year into the treatment and I lost my job and had to get a new one that did not offer me dental insurance.

I am fairly new to having metal braces.  I brush after every meal but still feel as it my teeth are dirty.  I also floss the best I can with having braces on and feel a little better but I really hate thinking I got food bits in my braces or that my teeth look dirty so I am always brushing my teeth.   Is there a better way to really clean your teeth when you have braces on.

I am 31 and have gotten to a place in my life where I can start to afford to take beter care of my teeth.  I have some gapping issues that I never really like and would like to get braces to fix them.  I do not want a mouth full of metal I am not 15.  Will dental insurance pay for me to have invisaligns?  If so can you advise me on the plan
