So I been having a tooth issue lately and notice it has a brown spot with a little hole.  Okay I did not brush my teeth so well and I know that I am paying the price for that now.  I am brushing now like three times a day and I also floss when I remember to do so.

Dental Laser to fix a cavity

I think that I may have a cavity and I was wondering if it hurts less having a cavity  drill out or laser out.
How does a laser work and does it cost more then a dentist the uses a drill?  Really any general information about this would be helpful.

Posted on Jan. 10th 2010 by BlueJaz in Cavities, Dental Help, Filings 2 Comments »

Is it okay to eat?  I had my filling done around one o’clock pm today.   It is not four and I am hungry but my teeth still kind of hurt.  Is it okay for me to eat some chicken noddle soup?  I do not want my filling to come out because I ate something to soon.   Also how long should I my teeth be sore for?

Tooth Infection and no dental insurance

Posted on Jan. 9th 2010 by Scotty O in Cavities, Dental Help, Root Canals, Tooth Aches 1 Comment »

Help  I have an infected tooth and it is very sensitive to heat.  It hurts when I eat too.  How long until it just dies so I do not have to have this pain anymore?  I know that I should get a root canal or have it pull it but I do not have dental insurance.  Also what can I take for the pain until it stops?   Please I really hurt and Advile is not helping much at all.

My tooth is sensitive to cold drinks

I had a filling done

I had a filling done on one of my back teeth about eight months ago.  Now within the last few weeks that same tooth is starting to get sensitive to cold drinks and or foods.  Does it have anything to do with the original filling that was done eight months ago?  It is not real bad but I am worried about it getting worse.

Having pain after fillings

Posted on Jan. 4th 2010 by Zoey in Cavities, Dental Help, Dentists, Filings 2 Comments »

I had two filling done about two weeks ago.  Ever since I got the filling my teeth still hurt when I eat.  Some times only the one tooth then the other and it is on and off again kind of pain.  The pain is coming from the two teeth I had the filling done.  I call the dentist and he said to give it two more weeks to see if the pain goes away.  If it does not to make an appointment to see him and he would check them out.   Does this seem right to you?

Can you get rid of a tooth cavity without going to the dentist

Posted on Jan. 1st 2010 by C Angras in Cavities, Dental Help 3 Comments »

One small cavity

I have this really small cavity in one of my molars.  The dentist told me about when I went in for my free cleaning. I was wondering since it is small can I get rid of it without going to the dentist?  I really do not like going to the dentist and only went because my insurance at work covers for a free clean and x-rays.  So is there just something I can do to get rid of a cavity myself?

Root Canal Treatment FAQs

Have not seen a dentist in about three years

I have this one tooth that is really starting to hurt me in the back bottom part of my mouth.  I know it has been some time since I seen the dentist.  I also do not floss as good as I should.  Now I have this jacked up tooth that really hurts.  I think that it may be broken but it is hard to see in the back of your mouth.

Help I have a tooth ache

I went to the dentist about a week ago for just a filling.  It seem to me to take a very long time for him to do the filling and he was just drilling and drilling  away.   When I left it seem okay at the time.  However now that same tooth is hurting me like crazy.  This is very upsetting because it did not hurt before I went to see him.
