If you are deciding between dental bridges or dental implants which would you get? And why? I am looking into both choices but I am just not sure. Money is a bit of a factor. I know the cost of implants are really expensive compare to a bridge.

I am wanting dental implants
I have three missing teeth in the back. I can not have a bridge because I do not have two connecting teeth. So my dentist said that I could have a partial which he can do for me. Or I can look into implants that would be just like my normal teeth but that he does not do implants so I would need to find a dentist that does.

A few weeks ago I got into an accident were I knocked out my two front teeth. Over all I am doing better now but I now have to deal with this very big gap. I know I do not have the money for implants. So besides implants what other procedure could be done to fix my gap and make me look like I have my teeth again?

Can you replace partial dentures with bridges or implants
I have to have a few teeth pulled, the thing is my dental insurance will only cover for partials for missing teeth and not bridges or implants. So saying I get the partial now for what I am covered under but later if I save my money could I get a bridge or implant? Or will it be too late by then?
Do not want to get partials
I just got my dental insurance though work about two week ago. So I went into the dentist for a cleaning since it has been a while, and was told I have three back molars that need to be pulled. That they were in to bad a shape to save with a crown. The dentist then said have they are pulled and my gums heal I should get partial to be fitted.

I have a son that is 16 years old and he knocked out a tooth by playing around. He is really upset about the lost of his tooth although I told him that what he gets for playing around. Now that some time has gone by I feel bad for him. So I was thinking implant but someone told me he can not have that now. Is that true?
Partial or Single Tooth Implant
If all you need is a single tooth replacement, the procedure will of course be less invasive. For one you will only need one fixture so there will be less stress on the jawbone and you. Here is the procedure:

On average, dental implants cost approximately $1,500 to $3,500 per tooth replacement. That is if you do not need any bone grafts. The cost may vary depending on the type of implant required and the dentist doing the implant procedures. Many providers offer discounts for patients receiving more than one dental implant at a time. So when it comes down to it you will need to shop out the best price for you. Trying finding dental office that will give you a free consultation.
Can you see the dentist when you need to, and schedule appointment times convenient for you?
Dentists participating in closed panel or capitation plans may have select hours to see plan patients. They may schedule appointments for these patients on given days, or at specified hours of the day, restricting your access.

Will my dentist and I be able to choose the specialist?
Some plans limit referrals to specialists. Your dentist may be required to refer you to a limited selection of specialists who have contracted with the plan’s third party. You also may be required to get permission from the plan administrator before being referred to a specialist. If you choose a plan with these limitations, make sure qualified specialists are available in your area. Look for a plan with a broad selection of different types of specialists.
One of my friends had nine teeth removed at once and although she did not get implants she did get her partials in on the same day. However she did have insurance and it still was not cheep, about 250.00 per tooth. You may be able to find a dental school that can do the work at a low cost. But I do not know about getting implants for free and or cheep. maybe you will be able to get dentures at a low cost. Call some schools and check around see what they will offer you. Good luck to you
If you are talking about your adult teeth once it falls out you can not put it back in and new one will not grow in its place. You will need a replacement either a implant or bridge. The bridge would be the cheaper choice. As the name bridge sounds you need to have teeth on either side of the gap. Bridges are not removable. A implant is cost more and also not removable, however you do not need teeth on either side of the gap.

I think you may like to have a bridge since they are attached and do not come out but you normally need to have teeth on either side of the bridge. A partial you can normally take out much like dentures. However, I do suggest that you speak to your dentist for advise on which will be best for you.
