Does having your wisdom teeth pulled really hurt excessively
My sister will be having all four wisdom teeth pulled on Friday. The next day Saturday is a wedding shower that I will be having for our other sister as a surprise. This was already planed out and I can not change the dates. I told her not to worry about not coming since our sister will know that she just got her teeth pulled. She still wants to come and I am okay with that but I think she will have be in a lot of pain since it is the day after.

So I just got two of my front teeth pulled. I will be getting a bridge put in but I need to heal first. Anyway I just had them pulled like two hours ago and I am getting really hungry. How long should I wait to eat. I am not in really to much pain so I think I could get something soft just not sure how much longer I should wait.
Dental implants are natural-looking replacements for missing teeth due to periodontal disease or an injury. Dental implants are so natural-looking and feeling, you may forget you lost a tooth. Dental implants look and feel like your own teeth. They are extremely naturalistic, and those who receive dental implants often do not notice a difference in the oral function after the surgery has healed.

About how much does it cost to have wisdom teeth removed
I live in PA and need all four of my wisdom teeth removed. One of them is really starting to bothers me and cause me pain. I do not have dental insurance for this and I have very little money. Anyone have any idea of cost? If I have to I will only get the one out that hurting me and worry about the others latter.
Your dentist uses root canal treatment to find the cause and then treat problems of the tooth’s soft core (the dental pulp). Years ago, teeth with diseased or injured pulps were removed. Today, root canal treatment has given dentists a safe way of saving teeth.

Needing a cigarette
I just had a molar pulled about a few hours ago. I am really in need of a cigarette. I and heard of dry socket but do I need to worry wout it if I had a root canal in that too before they pulled it. After all their is no nerve. So where would I have any pain from?
Root canal vs getting the tooth pulled
I really do not want to pull the tooth but I am in a lot of pain. I have a back molar that was decaying. I bough dental insurance six months ago but I still have three months to wait for a root canal or an extraction. The thing is having an extraction is cheaper then the root canal and I do not think I can put up with the pain for another three months. Please advise what should I do to save my tooth and not pay so much money?
All four teeth remove
I had all my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday and I am still bleeding. Is that normal? My face is all swollen but I was told that would happen. I do not have too much pain either so that is good. Tylenol seems to be working for me right now whenever I have some pain from the extractions.

Getting my wisdom teeth in and having some pain
I have started getting my wisdom teeth in top and bottom ones. All four have started coming in for abut two weeks now. Up until now I have not had any pain to speak of. However today one of the bottom ones have started to really hurt me. I have heard that they can come in sideways but they seem to just be coming out like normal teeth from what I can tell. So now because of the one tooth I hurt and my cheek is a little swollen is that normal? How long before it completely comes out so that it does not hurt any more?

Avoiding infection after a tooth removal
I would like to know if you still can get an infection after a tooth removal if you take antibiotics? Say if you take antibiotics before the extraction will that stop you from getting an infection? I will being having a tooth pulled so I would like to know the best way to avoid ever having an infection.
I been having this off an on pain
Okay so I had two both of my top wisdom teeth removed about a week ago. I have been taking care of my extraction site as advise by my dentist. I no longer in kind of pain I had when the teeth first came out, but I am left with this on and off dull throbbing pain. Advile helps but it does come back after a while. Is this normal? I know I do not have any infection but wondering how long does it take for the pain to stop all together?
Had a smoke will it still be okay?
I had my wisdom teeth removed about twelve days a go. I have been following the after care instructions that were provide to me by my dentist. One of the things it said was not to smoke for at least a week. Well I went a few days longer to be on the safe side. I did have one cigarette today. I make sure not to suck to hard. I notice that I got a little blood from the extraction site because of it. Will I still be okay? Do I need to worry about dry scocket?
Really scared started bleeding after wisdom tooth removal.
I just had my wisdom teeth remove Tuesday. I did what I was told and changed out the gauze until the bleeding stopped. Since today I am still in some pain I had some chicken noodle soup thinking that would be okay since you do not need to chew all the much.

Why can’t I smoke?
Why is it that you can not smoke after you have a tooth extraction? My dentist told me not to smoke for at least a week. Do I really need to wait that long and why. I wanted to ask but he is the kind of dentist I could easily see saying “What you can not go without smoking for a week?” That would only bug me so I did not question him. Any one know why you can not smoke? And yes it just may kill me to go without smoking for a week. So let me know if I can really smoke sooner
Had two teeth pull how long do I need to worry about dry socket
Two teeth pull in the back on last Monday. I have been taking very good care of the extraction site. Eating soft food rinsing my mouth out after eating to make sure food does not stay in the holes. I clean with warm salt water. I do not have much pain left and the hole seem to be healing well. At least they seem smaller. I am just wondering how long do I need to continue eating soft food and doing the rinse. I would love to start eating normally again. I think I can but do not want to cause any problems by doing it too soon.
