Do you hate going to the dentist?
I just hate going to the dentist. Every time I have to go I try and put it off. When I do go I have a bad attitude I know it is wrong but I just hate being there. Without fail I wine up sitting in the waiting room each time for over 30 minutes even though I get to my appointment on time. I start to think why is it they have to call me the day before my appointment to make sure that I get there on time and ask me not to be late. I should be the one to call the day before telling them to be on time. Is not my time important? This puts me off even more.
By the time I get sited in the lovely looking dental chair, I get that one dental assistant that seems to like playing with it. Also why is it that they got that sucking thing so that you do not drown in your own saliva, yet they wait until you are drooling down your chin or until the dentist tells them to suck. Then when they do suck up your saliva they suck so much that they almost always get your tongue or the inside of your cheek.
Just when I think I am done, I have to listen to how I do not floss good enough. Why they say this all the time when I have no cavities or gum issues I do not know. It bugs me though, it like they are talking to a five year old. What is even worst is when they want to show me how to floss. It almost like they are just trying to make me mad.
Do not miss understand me I do not hate dentist, just the whole experience of going. I am not now nor ever been scared of the dentist. But they can use help on the process.

I have a dental appointment this afternoon and I’m dreading it cause the dental office experience always freak me out. I just hate going to the dentist too. Though having healthy teeth and gum’s are important. I think most people would agree.

I Agreed, did you know that there is a high rate of depression and suicide among dentists? I think it is because so few people really like to go to them. That and they have to work in someone mouth all day long. I bet they see some pretty gross stuff.
I try to keep that in mind when I go to my dentist.

I go to my dentist every 6 months for my required check up and cleaning. I understand what you are saying about the dentist and the floss thing. It seems no matter how hard I try and take care of my teeth by brushing and flossing they say I am not flossing good enough. It bugs me too. I guess that it is just what dentist do.

OMG I went to the dentist not that long ago and had the same issue with the darn chair. The dental assistant who was polishing my teeth had the chair tilted so far back I felt like I was going to slide right off it. I was holding onto the chair handles so tight. I am just glad it does not take to long to polish your teeth. It really did kinda stress me out.

I have a son that is going on eight. I was telling him that Halloween is coming and asked him what he wanted to be this year. He said “I don’t know”. So I said just think of something that would be really scary and that I would make the outfit for him. It takes him a few minutes to think things over, but when he comes back he says he wants to be a dentist for Halloween.
I had to laugh, poor missed understood dentist.

I have a dental appointment in like two weeks. I do not really want to go, but I’ll still try to be nice to my dentist since he has to deal with me and my bad breath. I do brush my teeth before going but I take fish oil pills. They do bad things to ones breath.
