Dental Care, If what can be done if you loose a tooth in and Accident. If you loose a tooth due to an accident and the tooth is recovered quickly you have a chance to save the tooth by going straight to a dentist and having it reattached. However often too much time passes between the loss of the tooth and getting the dental care needed.
At that point you will need to think about how you are going to replace the tooth. One way is by having a dental implant. Implants are artificial roots for a tooth that is placed in your mouth and attached to a replacement tooth. They do not rest on other teeth to support the replacement tooth, but rather are rooted into the gums. A dental implant will look just like any of your other teeth and work and function the same.
Dental implants are a great substitute for dentures and bridge work. They are secure, and do not feel or look fake. The only problem with the procedure is the high cost. Many dental insurance plans do not cover for dental implants but there is still an option if your insurance plan does not offer benefits for implants. If implants works is needed then you may want to get a dental discount plan. On a dental discount plan you will be able to save money off the cost of having dental implants as long as there is a provider in the plan that does that type of dental services. It is worth looking into when deciding about implant dental work.

I have two missing teeth and wondering if I can have dental implants? Will they do only two teeth or do you have to have a bridge? Also will your discount plans help toward the cost of implants? Would like to get them as cheep as possible.
About a little over two years ago I had knocked out a top front top in an accident. Not having any money I did nothing about it. Now that I am working full time again I have some money and would very much like to get it fixed.
Can you get a single tooth implant? If so by who? I mean I know a dentist but is it a specialist or can any dentist do an implant? My last questions is will dental insurance cover for a single tooth implant if I was to buy dental insurance now?
I have always had good teeth. Even from the time I had baby teeth I never had a single cavity. About five months ago I got into an accident where I hit the steering wheel of my car with my mouth. This killed two of my front top teeth.
They turned gray in a month. I went to a dentist and was told that the tooth nerve was dead. They both were also loose. Which I knew they were I was just hoping that they would go back to normal. My dentist was just a general dentist. He said that they should be pulled in his opinion and that I could get dental implants.
However if I did that I would need to see a specialist. Well I thought it over and the two teeth were just become looser so I fell it was only a matter of time before them came out. I found a dentist that could do the implants. He pulled both teeth and did the implants the same day.
My problem is that my gums are not healing and I have been fighting infection on and off. I will not even go into how much pain I am in. I went back to the dentist and was told that I am having a bad reaction to the implants. He said this happens to some people.
That he can take out the implants and put in another type that may help. Or he can just pull out the implant and I get a bridge. I spent so much money already on this. I want the implants because I know they look better then getting a bridge but the dentist told me there is still a chance that the new implants can have the same effect as the last ones.
Oh and by the way I having to pay for the new implants and or bridge. So far I put out over $2000.00. He is giving me a price brake of 30% for the other implants but that is all. I am not sure what I should do. Should I cut my losses and get a bridge or try the new implants? Advise please.

I am a signal mom and for a long time all I was tyring to do is to get by. My kids came first and I was last. Little to say my dental care went to the waste side. I now have a good job that offers me dental care for most everything except implants and cosmetic care.
I am missing many of my teeth and bridges will not work since I have no connecting teeth on the other side near the back. My dental plan will cover a partial but not by too much they will only pay up to 40%. I want implants that is what my dentist said would be the best if I do not want partials. I have been looking for weeks on line for dental insurance that will cover at least 50% or more towards the cost of implants. Is there anything like that?

Why does it seem like there is not one dental insurance company in the US that covers for having dental implants? The dental insurance plans I have called all say it is cosmetic. However that is far from the truth. Just because maybe having dentures are cheaper does not make having dental implants cosmetic.
It not like I want perfectly good teeth pulled out just to get dental implants. NO that is not the case therefore if I need my bad teeth pulled having implants to replace them is not cosmetic. I just think that the dental insurance wants your 35.00 or so a month but does not want to really have to cover you for what is important. This make me so upset. Where am I do go to get the needed dental implants at a cost I can afford?

So my front tooth just cracked down the middle of the tooth. The crack is running up an down so my dentist told me I will need to have it pulled and then get a implant. Note I do not want a bridge since you have to mess up two more teeth just to get a bridge. Any way so to have the tooth pulled and to get the implant is going to cost me over $2000.00 then the dentist will put a crown on it which will cost at least another $800.00. Is it too late to get dental insurance and if not is it really worth buying dental insurance at this point?
I would really like to get dental implants for my missing teeth. Right now I have a partial but I seem to aways have issues with it fitting right. I do not like that partial come out it make me feel like an old person with dentures. I am only 28. I lost my front in a car accident. Dental implants have always been something I would like to have but I never really could afford them.
I am back into checking out some cosmetic dentist and their cost to see if having implants are still out of my reach. I would like to know if there are any dental insurance plans that will cover for the cost of dental implants and not just for partials? I would be great to get some help with the cost of getting implants.
I have been thinking about getting dental implants for the last few years now. I have four missing teeth in the back that I have a partial for. However, I really do not like having to wear a dental partial and would like to know more about possibility of getting dental implants instead. My dentist I go to now does not do dental implants so who would I talk to about implants?
Is there any dental office that I can go to for free information about having dental implants and how much they would cost me? I would like to know how other people liked their implants? Really any information would be great thanks.
I know I need my two bottom wisdom teeth removed. Though right now they are not giving me any issues I was told by a dentist two months ago it is something I should have done. I also have two missing top teeth that I currently have a bridge for. I knock my teeth out in a car accident may moon ago.
I would like to know what dentist does a wisdom teeth removal and implants. I have always wanted implants for my missing teeth but could not afford them until now. Who would I see my general dentist does not do this type of work.
There is not much medically that can be done to replace the missing tooth. If it is lost due to an accident, and the tooth is recovered quickly enough, you can sometimes have it reattached, but often too much time passes between the loss of the tooth and getting the person to a doctor or dentist. Often, the only choice for those who need to replace a tooth is a dental implant.
Dental implants are artificial roots for a tooth that is placed in your mouth and attached to a replacement tooth or a bridge. They do not rest on other teeth to support the replacement tooth, but rather are rooted into the gums. They are extremely naturalistic, and those who receive dental implants often do not even notice a difference in their oral function after the surgery has healed.
Dental implants are a great substitute for dentures and bridge work. They are secure, and do not feel or look fake. The only problem with the procedure is the high dental implant cost. That is where dental insurance for implants comes into play.

I would like to know about how long do I need to wait before working out after having dental implant surgery. I just had four implants put in three days ago and I am for the most part feeling fine. I am an active guy and hate note working out. The oral surgeon told me not to do anything stressful. I am guessing he meant for me not to workout but he did not say for how long.
I have been trying to help my dad look into having dental implants. He is not one for going on line and getting any information. So the information he has right now is only saying how great implants are and the process of getting one put in. I want him to know the full facts about implants. I am not trying to talk him out of them only want him to know possible issues they may have say compared to get a dental bridge put in. So information about the possible problems and or complications to implants would be helpful.
I would really like to know about the going rate of having dental implants. I am here in GA if it matters. I have one dentist quoting me about 900 -1100 a tooth. I have not clue about cost but is that about right. I have four teeth three in the back on one in the front.
I think I would really want to have dental implants but just do not want to feel like I am getting riped off. So price range would be a good guide for me.
If you are deciding between dental bridges or dental implants which would you get? And why? I am looking into both choices but I am just not sure. Money is a bit of a factor. I know the cost of implants are really expensive compare to a bridge.
However, the implants last longer? Are they better looking the a dental bridge. What your thoughts? I am leaning towards having a bridge because of cost but I do not want that to be the only factor.
I am wanting dental implants
I have three missing teeth in the back. I can not have a bridge because I do not have two connecting teeth. So my dentist said that I could have a partial which he can do for me. Or I can look into implants that would be just like my normal teeth but that he does not do implants so I would need to find a dentist that does.
I would like to know more about implants. I have heard ramdon good and bad things about implants but I would like more feed back please. I know that they would be more costly but besides cost what are some things I should know about dental implants?
A few weeks ago I got into an accident were I knocked out my two front teeth. Over all I am doing better now but I now have to deal with this very big gap. I know I do not have the money for implants. So besides implants what other procedure could be done to fix my gap and make me look like I have my teeth again?
Can you replace partial dentures with bridges or implants
I have to have a few teeth pulled, the thing is my dental insurance will only cover for partials for missing teeth and not bridges or implants. So saying I get the partial now for what I am covered under but later if I save my money could I get a bridge or implant? Or will it be too late by then?
