Dental Care, Broken tooth after having a root canal. I had a root canal done about six months ago. The dentist put on a temporally crown. I was to go back for a permanent crown two week latter but the fact was the root canal cost me all the money I had. About two months after having the root canal done the temporally crown came off. I tried putting it back but that did not work.
Still not have any money to go back in for the crown I did nothing. I know that was not the best choice but at the time I though I could wait it out until I saved money. However I believe now I may have broken part of the tooth that had the root canal done. I do not know what to do at this point. I tried looking for dental insurance like my friend suggested to me but I am finding out now everything about this tooth would not be covered since I started a dental job and never finished it. Please any advise before things get even worse.
Root Canal and Crown work needed: I live in Ohio and I was told that my back bottom molar has a cavity that is too large to fill and I need to have a root canal and then a crown put on. I have a very low coverage dental plan my job offers but it will not pay hardly anything for major dental care.
Is there anything thing else I can get that will help me out with the cost. I was being quoted $1759.00 and that is with my dental insurance. I could really use your help.
I live in Deep Creek Lake Maryland. A few days ago I broke part of a back tooth off. I think it use to have an old filling done over ten years ago. I not sure if that matter or not. I have not had dental insurance in two years but did pay to see a dentist for a check up over six months ago and all was well.
Calling back that dentist about what happen to my tooth the said without seeing me it would be hard to say but to count on having a crown and depending on how bad things looked I could also need to have a root canal. However, I looking at it I know I do not have cash for this type of dental care. What can I get that will help me now?
I am in need of a root canal. I do not currently have dental insurance. My dentist told me to make sure whatever plan I decide to get that it does not have any waiting periods. Other wise he said that they are not worth getting. He said that I may be best off looking for a dental discount plan but that would be up to me.
What is a discount plan? And how will it help me regarding having a root canal done? Why dose the dentist tell me that most dental insurance will have a waiting period or will not help me with have a root canal. Please advise.

I have a bad back tooth it is the last molar on the bottom right side of my mouth. I seem to be always having problems with that tooth on and off. I went to the dentist that said he could save it by doing a root canal and putting a crown on it.
I have dental insurance so that will help me some regarding the cost. However, I really just wanted it pulled. I had filling done on this tooth twice before and I am tired of messing with it. The dentist said he could pull it but would advise against it. Saying that my teeth may start to shift.
It is in the back and I really do not care. Will my teeth really start to shift that badly without it? Wanting to pull it but would that be a big mistake?
Four days ago I had a root canal done my general dentist. I never really cared for her but up until not she did a good enough job. With this root canal she did not get out all the infection or root in my molar. Now my tooth hurts like hell and is making my whole mouth hurt as well too. I tried getting her to look at it but she is putting me off for two days!! I call and leave message but she will not return my calls. The office staffing did but to only tell me that the soonest they can get me back in is in two days.
This is not acceptable to me with the amount of pain I am going to be in. I feel I have no choice but to wait and I am so upset that this is happening to me. What can I do about this? I have to go back but how to I control my temper about how she jerked me off! Is there anyway I can make her fix up her mess sooner? I have already paid in full to have this root canal done you think that would mean something to her
I have not been to the dentist in over seven years. I just never could afford to go to one. I am financially getting better but I know I will not be able to pay in full for a root canal. The tooth that is broken is the one that is really hurting me. It is more the half gone and I been dealing with it up until now were the pain just will not stop no matter what I do or take for that matter.
If I have the tooth pulled would it be cheaper the a root canal? Or will having a root canal cheaper. Are there still dentist willing to take a payment plan. Believe it or not I have good credit because although I do not have much money I always paid my bills on time. I just need help can you offer me some good advise.
Dentists typically base their root canal fees on the number of individual root canals found in the tooth. Those teeth that lie between the incisors and molars vary by the fact that they typically have either one or two root canals. The cost of root canal varies depending on some factors: The area in US the dentist located. The fee your dentist charges for the root canal treatment will probably be less than if you required the services of an endodontist. The average cost is $300 to $1000 for a root canal depending on the area in the U.S. the dentist is located. A dental Discount plan would be albe to save you %20.00 of an Endonontist Specialist where some insurance plans do not cover for specialist. Make sure you read the plan detail to know what is and want is not covered.
What is an endodontic dentist? What do they do? By going to an endodontic dentist does dental treatment cost more then going to your family dentist? My sister has to see an endodontic but she does not even know why since she never asks any questions and just does what her dentist tells her to do. However afterwords is always upset because she does not know what is going on and why her dentist can not just do the work.
I am trying to help out my friend who does not have dental insurance and is on a fixed income. I would like to know what are some cheap dental insurance that are offered in Alabama? My friend needs a root canal really bad. She is in pain now and is putting it off due to lack of money.
I told her that I would pay for a dental insurance plan for her if she goes and gets her tooth fixed. She said she would pay to get it fix if she had a plan that could help her on the cost of having a root canal. I have been looking on line for a dental insurance plan, but only seen plans that are too expensive and that have waiting periods for root canals. I do not want to pay 40.00 a month and be locked into it for over a year. I was hoping to find something cheap just so she could get the root canal done. Then if she like the plan she could pay to keep it from there.
What do you do when you have dental insurance but the cost of all the services you need still exceed what you can afford to spend. I need two root canals which will need to also have crowns, and four fillings. I have been putting off having the dental work I needed until I got dental insurance though my job.
Even with the insurance company, my part of the bill would come out to be over $1000.00. What do I do to get my teeth fixed? I do not have $1000.00 to spend. The fact is I have only about half them much money to spend on fixing my teeth. Any advise please
So I have to have a root canal done and I am very really nervous about the whole process. I need someone to describe to me the root can procedure and it it hurts. I was to have this root cancel done before but I cancel the appointment because I was so nervous it was making me sick. I can not put it off any longer so any information to help me though this would be great
I need a root canal in one of my top molars. I been having on and off pain now for the last few days. What are my options in California if I do not have any dental insurance? I have a job but it is only part time so I do not make a lot of extra money for dental cost. Need help please advise.
Can a drilling noise make you lose part of your hearing
Basically I had problems with my dentist from day one. All I wanted was the tooth pulled. He was like no it can be saved with a root canal and crown. I told him no just wanted it pulled. I was tried of it hurting me and getting it pulled was cheaper. He would not do that and gave me a root canal with a crown instead. Well he use some time of drill and it was very loud. I had to put up with it for about an hour and now I can not really hear out of the right ear. that was the side the tooth was on where he was working. It has been two days and I still can not hear like I did before. What can I do? Is there any recourse? After all he did what I did not want him to do in the first place.
help with a tooth infection?
My mother got a root canal done and a few days latter seems to have an infection by that same tooth. She is in a lot of pain and the dentist says she will need to make a appointment to come in. She is in pain now to the point that she been thowing up. Her appointment is two days away yet. Please help how can she stop this tooth ache in the mean time.?
Help I have an infected tooth and it is very sensitive to heat. It hurts when I eat too. How long until it just dies so I do not have to have this pain anymore? I know that I should get a root canal or have it pull it but I do not have dental insurance. Also what can I take for the pain until it stops? Please I really hurt and Advile is not helping much at all.
Needing a cigarette
I just had a molar pulled about a few hours ago. I am really in need of a cigarette. I and heard of dry socket but do I need to worry wout it if I had a root canal in that too before they pulled it. After all their is no nerve. So where would I have any pain from?
My dentist told me I either need 4 root canal or4 extractions
I am not sure what to do. I have no pain and only went in for a cleaning since it as been about a year since the last time I had one. The dentist said that I have four bad teeth and I would either need to pull them or have root canal in them in order to save the teeth.
This seem a bit much. Would I not have some pain if my teeth were so bad? Not sure if I should let him do anything. Please advise
Can a old root canal go wrong?
I had a root canal on one of my back molars in 2003. Now that same tooth that had the root canal and a crown put on it hurts. It hurts, and I think I have an infection since my gum is red and swollen by that tooth. If the dentist did a bad root canal job does he have to fix it for free? I mean would he not have to fix his own work? I called the dentist office but they are telling me that is not likely but could not answer me without seeing what the issue is.
Sure that way they can say no and then charge me for an office visit. I am a very upset and in pain. I want the dental office to fix the tooth they worked on. Any advise?
Root canal vs getting the tooth pulled
I really do not want to pull the tooth but I am in a lot of pain. I have a back molar that was decaying. I bough dental insurance six months ago but I still have three months to wait for a root canal or an extraction. The thing is having an extraction is cheaper then the root canal and I do not think I can put up with the pain for another three months. Please advise what should I do to save my tooth and not pay so much money?
