Root Canal and Crown work needed: I live in Ohio and I was told that my back bottom molar has a cavity that is too large to fill and I need to have a root canal and then a crown put on. I have a very low coverage dental plan my job offers but it will not pay hardly anything for major dental care.
Is there anything thing else I can get that will help me out with the cost. I was being quoted $1759.00 and that is with my dental insurance. I could really use your help.
My husband and I are at the end of the line. We just do not know what to do. My husband has a really bad wisdom tooth that is hurting him and keeping him up at night. Although we have insurance the dental insurance we have will only pay part of the cost about 40%.
I have called seven dentist. They all wanted the total cost paid in full regardless of our insurance. I told them I would need a payment plan in order to do that. However I was told no to that too. Some of the dental offices told me to apply for a Care Credit which is a medical credit card. We tried and can not get it. I tell them this and they have a I do not care attitude.
I do not get it. Dentist always preach how important it is to take care of your teeth and to see them for you dental care, yet they do not want to be bother helping out anyone that can not afford to pay their extremely high prices all at once. I guess it all about making the money for their sport car payment or next vacation.
Is there anything thing we can do to get my husband teeth fixed. Looking for the one dentist that may still really care about the people that paying his car payment.
Fell asleep with gum in my mouth
Okay will I was up late last night studying for a test. I fell to sleep with gum in my mouth. When I woke up my mouth was very sore. I notice that it seems like my gums are a little swollen and my jaw and teeth kind of hurt. I never had teeth problems until now. What can I do for the pain? Should I worry that I have cavities now because of the gum?
