Dental care for cosmetic dentistry in New York: I have a Aunt that does not have really good teeth. Many of the dental services she needs to have done is consider cosmetic dental services and therefore not covered under her current dental plan she get though her job.
My mom is trying to help her out and ask me to see if I can find anything on line that my Aunt can use. I do not know anything about dental insurance so I am hoping you can advise me if you have any plan that my Aunt can use to get help towards the cost of her needed dental services.
Pennsylvania dental insurance for cosmetic dental services: I need help in finding a dental plant will help me. Four years ago I had some veneers put on my front teeth top and bottom. At that time I could afford to have the dental work done.
Now I having nothing but problems with them. I am told by my current dentist they were not put on right and that is why now I have gums issues as will as why my teeth hurt me off an on. He said I would need to take them off and hopley have new one put on correctly. But now I can not afford to have this much dental work done and I can seem to find dental insurance that is willing to help me with my dental needs. Do you have anything that will work for what I need to have done?
Washington DC Dental Insurance for Cosmetic dentistry: I have bad top front teeth that make it so I really do not like smiling much and I would like to have my smile back. I know I need to have dental veneers or something like that to make my teeth look good again.
My current dental insurance plan does not offer any coverages for cosmetic dentistry. I have already talked about this with my dentist and was told many dental insurance plan will not cover for veneers. Do you have any dental plan that can help me with the cost of cosmetic dental services?
Why is it that dental insurance will not cover for dental implants? I do not see how implants are cosmetic dental services when someone needs to have teeth. I have dental insurance though my job and they will not cover me for any thing other the a bridge or partial.
So I have to have cheap fake teeth in order to have any coverage under my current dental insurance plan. I was upset when I was told this but my dental office. They told me this is standard with many dental insurance companies not covering for dental implants.
I need five implants so we are talking over $5000 worth of dental work. What can I get if not dental insurance that will help me out here with having implants?
Last night I was up late watching TV since I could not fall asleep. I was very sleep just could not sleep when a commercial came on about these new veneers that their dentist can put on that does not grind down your teeth like normally veneers do.
They really make your teeth look like new. My teeth have some dark spots that whiten treetment never really worked on. So this sound great to me. They even can be removed if you want to for any reason with out damage to your teeth. Since my teeth are strong there is no way I want to grind them down to nothing. Is this too good to be true? Sorry I was tried so I forgot what they were calling them other then I think they are some newer type of veneers.
I would really like to get dental implants for my missing teeth. Right now I have a partial but I seem to aways have issues with it fitting right. I do not like that partial come out it make me feel like an old person with dentures. I am only 28. I lost my front in a car accident. Dental implants have always been something I would like to have but I never really could afford them.
I am back into checking out some cosmetic dentist and their cost to see if having implants are still out of my reach. I would like to know if there are any dental insurance plans that will cover for the cost of dental implants and not just for partials? I would be great to get some help with the cost of getting implants.
There is not much medically that can be done to replace the missing tooth. If it is lost due to an accident, and the tooth is recovered quickly enough, you can sometimes have it reattached, but often too much time passes between the loss of the tooth and getting the person to a doctor or dentist. Often, the only choice for those who need to replace a tooth is a dental implant.
Dental implants are artificial roots for a tooth that is placed in your mouth and attached to a replacement tooth or a bridge. They do not rest on other teeth to support the replacement tooth, but rather are rooted into the gums. They are extremely naturalistic, and those who receive dental implants often do not even notice a difference in their oral function after the surgery has healed.
Dental implants are a great substitute for dentures and bridge work. They are secure, and do not feel or look fake. The only problem with the procedure is the high dental implant cost. That is where dental insurance for implants comes into play.

My son has a chipped tooth. It is one of is front top teeth. So people can see it when he talks or smiles. This chip happen when he was younger play sports. At the time there was no way I could afford to have anything done about it.
Now times are better for me. I would like to fix his tooth even though he is now a young adult. He is a little worried about how a dentist goes about fixing a chip tooth. He said he does not want it pulled or have any veneers put on it. Can something other then a veneer be used to fix his tooth?
I am so up set right now. I just broke my tooth in half vertically while I was eatting. Can a dentist fix my tooth with out pulling it out? I do not want to lose my tooth. I made a dental appointment but I have to wait three days before they can take me in. Can I save my tooth?
I have always had bad teeth and the last dentist I had really jacked my teeth up more so I know that they really can not be fixed. I did find a new dentist that I like and he is really good but is limited to what he can do with the teeth that are left and making them look good.
I spoke to him about veneer but they are quite expensive and I can not afford them. I have heard about flippers from that beauty pageant show they have on TLC. I know you can not eat with them but other then that could they be worn on a daily bases? I would really like to know because I heard they would be cheaper then veneers so I may be able to afford them if they will work that way.
Cosmetic dentistry may help you to get your best smile at any age. One of the most popular cosmetic dental procedures to a perfect smile is bonding. Cosmetic dental bonding is a fairly painless procedure usually performed in one dental visit by applying an enamel like material to your teeth which is then shaped, hardened with a special light and polished.
For a more dramatic smile, porcelain veneers can make a drastic difference. With veneers, you can control the color, position, shape, and size of your new teeth which can correct crooked, worn, or chipped teeth. This procedure can cost between $1,200 – $3,500 per tooth.
Cosmetic dentistry insurance coverage is not afforded by most dental insurance companies. If you are with a group dental insurance company through your employer, you may want to inquire if cosmetic dentistry insurance coverage is provided under your dental plan.
Cosmetic dental coverage is normally provided by discount dental plans. Discount dental plans usually cover 15 to 20 percent of the cosmetic dental care cost. To find out more about Dental Discount Plans visit http://www.insurancecompany.com
I really want to have some cosmetic dentistry done. I use to be a smoker for many years and since I have quite over two years ago my teeth now bother me. I have been changing my life to be more healthier but having teeth that are are stain and brownish black just really makes me feel bad about myself. I went to see a regular dentist he said whiten my teeth would not really work since they are so bad.
He suggest I see a cosmetic dentist and to find out my choices. I would like to do that but my dental insurance dose not cover for cosmetic dental work. Any one know or have an idea of cost? I have no clue and although I make okay money I do not have a lot of extra spending so it would be helpful to me to have some clue of cost for a cosmetic dentist.
Can a dental bonding fix a chip tooth?
I have a small chipped tooth in the front where everyone can see it. I do not have money for veneers but a friend of mine said that I may be able to fix the chip without any veneers and just have it bonded. The dentist I went to see about the chip said I should get a veneer. However veneers would have cost over 900.00. My dental insurance dose not cover for veneers. Is bonding really cheaper? Can it fix a chip tooth and make it look better.
Need answers about cosmetic dentistry
I will be getting braces in another two weeks. The thing is they will be fixing an overbite but I also have a sight gap in between my two front teeth. Due to the shape of my teeth the orthodontic dentist will not be able to completely close the gap.
So my questions is can a cosmetic dentist fix this gap and make my teeth look perfect? Does dental insurance cover for cosmetic services if need when braces can not fix the problem? Also any idea of cost for this to be done by a cosmetic dentist?
I was just eating when I notice that I bit down to hard and heard a crack. I stopped and notice half of my front just fell off. Can a dentist glue it back on or what? I have the broken part. The bottom part that is left does not hurt me and is not lose. What can I do? Advise please
Can you replace partial dentures with bridges or implants
I have to have a few teeth pulled, the thing is my dental insurance will only cover for partials for missing teeth and not bridges or implants. So saying I get the partial now for what I am covered under but later if I save my money could I get a bridge or implant? Or will it be too late by then?
Three baby teeth at 25
I have three baby teeth that never had their adult teeth. They are healthy and the dentist said they will not come out unless I do not take care of them just the same as my other teeth. However I do not like how they look. Could I have them crowned to adult teeth size. So that they will look like the rest of my teeth?
Got braces now have headaches
I am 24 and fairly new to having braces. I went with the plain metal ones for cost fact reasons since I paying for them myself and the other types would just be too expensive for me. I had them in now for a little over a month. My teeth are find they are sore sometimes but for the most part braces do not bother me in that way. I have been getting headaches though ever since I got braces.
Is that normal? I have headaches in the morning when I wake up and sometimes after school. I started to get headaches the same time I got the braces so I am pretty sure that is the cause of them. You think I will continue to have the headaches until I am out of braces or what?
I had veneers put on a few of my frount teeth about three years ago. One of them came off just the other day. My question is the veneer it self looked ok. It did not seem broke or chiped. Can the dentist just use that same veneer and put it back on my tooth? They are not cheap and my dental insurance did not cover me when I had them put on the frist time. I would not like to have to pay for a new one. Also my tooth that had the veneer did not look so great. do I have to worry about it braking or getting any cavities? Like to know what other people think before I ask my dentist about this. I am worried about asking a stupid question.
Here is what I think: You need to sit down with the dentist that is advising you to remove the veneers and ask him/her
1) Why does he think the current veneers are making your gums bleed and be in pain? I think it is important for you to understand why this is currently happening to you. And just how is getting new ones going to fix the problem?
2) Is he going to use different type of veneers that he think will be better?
Seems to me you have not asked these questions to the dentist that wants to do the work. It is important for you to fully understand why the dentist is suggesting what he is and how it will make things better for you. Keep questioning him/her until you have a full understanding.
3) Also ask if they can suggest a different type of treatment then the veneers.
4) Have you spoke to the dentist that put the current veneers on? If they did not put them on correctly or they need to be fixed should they not do that for free? If the error is on them I would think so.
Anyway good luck
