My three year old son has had damaged enamel on his front tooth. Because of the damaged enamel his front tooth broke and he is left with half of a tooth. What is left of the broken tooth is brown in color. My dentist at the time told me it is best to leave it alone which i have done.
Now since we have recently moved I had to change the dentist he was seeing. When I took him into the dentist two cavities were found on back teeth, which he said need filling. He also said he can fix the front tooth so that it looks better. I little confused about what to do now. How dose dentists do fillings on 3 year olds? Also should I allow him to do the reconstruction on the front tooth? Advise please.
