Extraction, in pain need dental help
Over time one of my molars has all but chipped away. All that is now left is roots. Now my gum is starting to grow over what is left of the tooth. I know this sounds bad, and it is. I am in pain, at the time I started to have this tooth issue I did not have a job which also meant no dental insurance. It was just something I could not afford. Now I have a job, but this pain is starting to be a issue. I wanted to know if there is just a thing as root extraction. I know there is no way of saving what little is left.

I know just how you feel. I had to go four years with out going to the dentist do to lack of insurance. Although I had a job spending the extra money on my dentist need was just not a choice for me at the time.
I too had a real bad toothache that finely made me see a dentist. I had close to the same problem you have now. The dentist did do the root extraction. After it was done I wish I had gone sooner. By not going because of cost, it wound up costing me more in the end. Since I waited I had also started to have issues that needed to be address.
So in short go to the dentist as soon as possible. A dentist can fix or remove what is left of your tooth.

Yes please go and get your tooth fixed. It sounded really painful. I am glad that you have a job now and are able to pay for some dental needs.
However, if you still do not have any dental insurance or a dental plan. Think about getting some. By getting either dental insurance or a dental plan you will be able to control your dental cost and what you pay out. I have listed a link for your review. Good Luck
