Toothpaste just how much do you need
what is the correct amount of toothpaste to use.
When brushing your teeth just how much toothpaste should an adult use? Whenever you see toothpaste adds they show that the toothpaste covers the whole brush. Even on some toothpaste boxes they show you having toothpaste on the whole brush. Do you really need that much? I was told you did not have to use that much toothpaste to clean your teeht with. If that is true why would they show that much on a brush, if you were to only use very little? Any anwers?

What you need to keep in mine is that the photos they show in ads for toothpaste is for marketing. They are selling a product so they will show the product off well.
If you read the instructions on the toothpaste box, it will say that you only need a pea size amount.

It is true you do not need to load your toothbrush with that much toothpaste. I use a little more the a pea size amount. The picture on a ad is not instructions on how to use their product. However it will not hurt you any if you do put toothpaste on the complete toothbrush.
In fact I am sure the toothpaste companies love people that use a lot of toothpaste to brush their teeth with. More money for them.
