Can you get rid of a tooth cavity without going to the dentist
One small cavity
I have this really small cavity in one of my molars. The dentist told me about when I went in for my free cleaning. I was wondering since it is small can I get rid of it without going to the dentist? I really do not like going to the dentist and only went because my insurance at work covers for a free clean and x-rays. So is there just something I can do to get rid of a cavity myself?

If only life was that easy then there would be no need of having dentist in the first place. The problem is an untreated filling small or otherwise will only over time get bigger or turn into a bigger issue.
While it is still just a small cavity get it fixed. There is no magical way of fixing a cavity without going to a dentist that I know of at any rate.

No. You need to have a dentist fix your cavity. I would have it done before it get worse.

Yea I was just like you not really wanting to go to the dentist unless I had to. I was told that I only had a small cavity so I just let it go thinking it was no big deal.
I was fine for two years. However, that same small cavity turned into a tooth ache that now needed to have a root canal to fix it. I do not have to tell you that it cost a lot more to fix, that aside it was also painful. I could have avoided all that by just fixing the cavity two years ago.
