Is it okay not to have perfect teeth
I am 16 and my teeth are white just not snowy white. They are really straight but I have a small gap in between my too front teeth on the top. My friends say that I should do something about them since they are not perfect and I would be so much cuter if my teeth were better. Up until now I did not really think they were so bad that I needed to really care about them other then to do my dental cleaning twice a year. Should I ask my parents to fix my teeth?

Dont worry as you get older your teeth move all over the place and maybe your gap will go away?

You can always fix a gap but I think that if it does not bother you then do not let your friend get to you over it. I am sure you are cute now. In fact sometime a small gap will give you personalty.
I know a good friend of mine that likes a girl not to look perfect. He said it makes them more approachable. Do what you want and what you feel is correct for you. Not what your friend tell you to do.

You sure your friends are not just jellos of you. There are more people with not so perfect teeth then those that have so call perfect teeth.
As long as you are taking care of your teeth and you have good oral health. I would not let friend tell you that you need to fix a gap. That is up for you to decide. You can always fix if it you feel you want to.

That depends on what you think perfect teeth are. I hate when I see people with overly white teeth. Or that their teeth look like they should be on a toothpaste add. It makes the person teeth fake looking more then perfect looking.

I have a little gap in my front teeth too. I do not care what people think about it. My teeth are really healthy I never had a cavity. My teeth are perfectly straight, as well as nice and white.
If you want to fix the gap so be it. But if you think you need to fix it because some people are saying such and such about it. I would advise waiting until you think it is important for you to fix.
Otherwise you may as well change everything about yourself that other people do not like. Today it is your gap and tomorrow it will be something else.

I say if your friend do not like your gap so much then they should be the ones to pay to get it fixed. Otherwise they can keep their opinions.
