Dental Insurance, Can I see a dentist without having dental insurance ?
I do not have dental insurance and I really do not want to have to buy any either. Since I do not go to the dentist all that much I do not really see the need to buy dental insurance.
However can I go to a dentist and not have dental insurance? Will any dentist take me if I do not have dental insurance or do I need dental insurance in order to see a dentist?

Well I am always going to suggest having dental insurance or a dental plan in force. Even if you have very good teeth you still need to go to the dentist for your twice a year cleaning. Which would included X-rays and office visits.
For someone like you that does not have any major dental needs. Look into getting a low cost HMO plan. Many HMO offer free cleanings, office visits and X – rays. The plan pays for itself and then some the first time you use it.

No you do not need any dental insurance to see a dentist. As long as you have the cash to pay for their services. Dentist also may even give you a cash discount if you are paying in full for the dental service at the time it is render.
Call around and see where you can get the best deal. Otherwise I would see about dental insurance. Like the one reply stated it would save you money in your dental needs even if you have good teeth.
