Dental PPO insurance plan, How do I know if I am aproved, and when can I start using the plan
I am looking at getting one of your dental PPO plans I am not sure yet which one either the Standard life or one of the Nationwide PPO plans. I am still taking things over with my dentist for I choose one. I would like to know if I am buying it on line how will I know when I am approved for the plan? Also once I am accepted when can I start using it. I have that question for both plans. Thank you

Both NationWide and Standard Life PPO plans are good plans. It is comparing coverages with the limitations to decide which may be best for you.
Both plan very from their waiting periods and max annual limitation amounts per person per year. Knowing the plans terms and conditions will help you choice the better one for you and your own dental needs.
There are more then just one Nationwide plan to choice from too. Both plan products would have a first effective date depending on their enrollment date cut off. Both plans have waiting periods so come the effective date of both plans you would be able to have only your preventive dental care as shown in the plan details.

There is no real approval process with regards to dental. As long as your payment is able to be processed you would be able to get either plan.
On our website with either the NationWide or Standard Life programs you can buy them on line. You do get a receipt that you bought the plans right after hitting the submit button for your order. However you also do get your ID card and packet information in the mail by the insurance company. We say in about 10 days from the order date of your plan.
Effective date does very. With NationWide as long as you place your order on or before the 5th of the month you are in you will have an effective date for the 1st of that same month.
With Standard Life you would place your order on or before the 20th of the month you are in to have the 1st of the following month as your effective date.
Both plans are great choices and are really good dental insurance companies. Just read each plan detail information and how they work and know the plans terms and limitations. If you have any questions you know you can call our member services line (310-534-3444) and they will be happy to help you.
