Dental insurance, Reviewing your dental HMO plans in California
I see you have three HMO plans offer though Delta Dental, Golden West and Pacificare. However I notice as well that you have two Delta Dental and two Golden West plans. Beside cost what would be the different in those plans? What is the best plan out of your HMOs? I looking towards getting an HMO because they seems to be the more affordable plans. Is there anything else I should know about a dental HMO plan?

When looking at HMO plans you would want to compare the fee schedules to see which offer you the lowest cost for the dental services you many want. As well as compare dentist within each plan.
Since you do have to choose a dentist in an HMO plan network of providers that may be a deciding factor for you.

Even though Golden West and Dental dental offer two HMO plans each they are still difference from each other.
For the most part they have one that is a little less expensive in the the cost of the plan but dental services are a little more costly compare to paying for the higher cost plans and getting the dental services at a lower cost.
This is done this way to fix each person needs on cost and what they may want from a plan.
