My Orthodontist messed up my teeth
Can I sue my orthodontist
I had braces for about three years. At the time they should have come of sooner but since I did not have all the money the orthodontist would not remove my braces until the bill was paid in full. It took me another year to do that. I got my braces off and now six months latter five of my teeth are braking a part. I know it was because of the braces that were left on too long. What can I do to get my orthodontist dentist to pay for repairing my teeth?

Wow — braces to a law suit. Have you tried sitting down with the dentist in a calm and peaceful manner? Besides, why an attorney when you can file a complaint with the dental board and ask for assistance.
If the dentist is in California use this link and fill the form out: http://www.dbc.ca.gov/formspubs/form_complaint.pdf
Remember dentist are people too!

Well the truth of the matter is, if you live in the United State of America you have the freedom to sue anyone you want for any reason. Hence why our courts are so filled up with stupid law suites.
The question you should be asking is if you have a strong enough case to win. I am not a lawyer but from what I am reading I would say no. I have had braces on for over four years. My teeth never started braking apart because of them.
If you have bad teeth now it could because you did not take proper care of your teeth while you were in braces. I think it would be hard to prove that braces had anything to do with your braking apart.
I would make more seance if you said that your teeth were crooked or out of a lineament. Where you can show how he did not fix or where he made the problem bigger. Bad teeth seem like a hygiene issue to me
