Can smoking cause your gums to darken
Noticed my gums going dark?
So I have been smoking now for about three years. I just been noticing that my gums are getting darker then what they were before I started smoking. I am planing on quitting and wanted to know if I do quit will my gums go back to being light pink like before I started smoking.

Well smoking can cause many harmful side effect to your oral health. The best thing you could do is to quick smoking ASAP.
I would also advise you to see a dentist. Smokers should see their dentist more often then just twice a year.
If you have not see a dentist lately make sure you make an appointment. A dentist can address your gum issue and any other issues your smoking may have caused to your oral health.
