What are some of the causes of sensitive teeth
I have within the last year started to get really sensitive teeth. Maining my top teeth more so the the bottoms. They are sensitive to both hot and cold food or drinks. Sometimes my teeth even seem to be sensitive to sweets that I may have.
I have been to the dentist about three months ago and mention this to him but I have no cavities and my teeth and gums are healthy. Using senistive tooth paste only helps for a while. What causes sensitive teeth? And how can I help slow down or stop having sensitive teeth?

Your tooth enamel may be worn or waring down. Have your dentist look into that. If so you may want to think about have dental sealants. Not only will dental sealants help you will tooth sensitivity but it will help protect your teeth from decay.

Have you or do you whiten your teeth. Sometimes over whiting your teeth or having the whiten for the first time can cause you to have tooth sensitivity. However, normally the sensitivity does go way in a few weeks after whiting your teeth. Just a thought
