Still in Pain After Having Novocaine Injections.
I an wanting to know if it is normal to be sore for a couple of days after receiving Novocaine injections in the back of my mouth. Going on two days ago I had to have two filling done on my back molars. I never had cavities before and the demist gave me Novocaine injection so I will not be in pain during the filling process. However my jaw in the back still hurts. Not a lot but enough to notice when I am eating or opening my mouth too wide. Is this normal? Should I go back to the dentist? Please advise
