Suggestions on what type of dental insurance I should look for.

Right now I do not have any dental insurance.   I have not been to the dentist in over two years.  My teeth do not bother me but I know I need to see the dentist if nothing more then to have a cleaning and X-rays.   I am only looking to  get a dental plan for myself.

I know that I should get dental insurance to help me with my dental needs.  I want something that is really going to be saving me money.   I will be using the plan.   Please give me some advise so I am better informed and will know what to look for in a dental plan.
