I am 15 and my teeth are really ugly. My bottom teeth are fine but my top teeth have large spaces and I have a rather big over bite. My mother is a single parent and can’t afford braces for me. I also have two younger twin brother that are three so she is really busy with them. I know this and do try to understand that although she would like to get me braces even with the insurance she has she said it would still cost her around $2000.00
I am however left with zero confidence. And I hate my smile. Please does anyone know where I might go for cheaper braces? Or what I can do to fix my teeth without braces? Thanks
I am twenty living on my own. I have a full time job but it does not offer me dental insurance cover on medical. I been to the dentist about six months ago for my check up and I had no dental issues. However, I do not want to keep paying out of pocket. Even for just the basic preventive dental care it cost me $100.00.
What is a good plan to get that is low in cost but would offer me free basic dental care? What should I be looking for and reviewing when buying dental insurance?
I was looking at your Careington dental plan 507. I know that it states that it is a dental discount plan and not insurance but can you explain to me how it works? I never had a dental discount plan and the dental insurance plans I had was alway given to me by my employment.
Today I had to go into the dentist for my general dental appointment. The dental assistant was being a rude jerk. She was telling me very rudely that I need to brush and floss my teeth better. I do brush and floss but flossing is a little hard since I also wear braces.
Then the dental assistant started flossing my teeth for me, shoving the floss into my gums. At the time they were really bleeding and she all like that because you do not floss…
Now my gums really hurt four hours latter. How can I sooth my sore gums? I told my mom but she just says maybe I should floss better then in the future. I am so upset.
I have dental insurance but it does not pay out for teeth whitening. I have sorta white teeth but I want my teeth really white. I would like it done fast so that I can see the difference right away. I was looking at your dental discount plans and they say they will give you discounted saving of dental services. Does that including whitening treatments?
Around a month ago I had a filling put in one of my back bottom molar. Since then that tooth as become a little sensitive to hot and cold foods. I first since I never had a filling done before I though it was normal but that the tooth would be find after a while.
It not hurting me otherwise. Is it the filling? Or should I go back to the dentist? I have dental insurance so going back is no big deal but I hate to waste my time if it is nothing.
I have a toothache for the past week and I do not know how to stop the pain. Asprin is not helping me any. I do not have a dentist or dental insurance and can not afford either. As it it I am only able to get on line with the help of using a friends computer for advise and help. How do I stop a toothache for little money?
I need to find a dentist somewhere out there that is willing to fix all of my teeth. I have very bad gross teeth but it is not because I did not try and take care of them. I had spinal meningitis when I was a child and it effected how all my teeth came in.
Now that I am in my 30 I only have really bad teeth that are week and braking a part. I have crowns root canals in order to try and save my teeth but nothing working and I am in teeth pain all the time. I have dental insurance but with my 1500 max I really not getting much done.
I just do not have the money to continue and I am in a great deal of pain. I need dental help and a dentist that is willing to help me and not think of just making more money. I do not know where to look for help at this point please advise.
Currently right now I am seven months pregnant and on state provided medical insurance due to my pregnancy. I do not have the money to afford medical bills. I am glad that I am getting help but now I have a really bad toothache in one of my back molars.
The assistance I get does not offer me dental insurance I may be able to afford a low cost dental insurance plan but was told not to get it because it may effect the assistance I am getting for medical. I can not afford to go to the dentist on my own and do not know what to do….. Please help me
I can not stand my teeth they are all in very bad shape. I even missing quite a few already so I have a lot of gaps and loose teeth. I decided that I just want all my teeth pulled. Since I am 16 I had to talk it over with my mom who agrees at this point just to pull all of my teeth out.
She said she been paying a lot of money for nothing since my teeth are still just causing me nothing but problems. My mom has some dental insurance that will help us with the cost but what I wanting to know is how much will it hurt and how long would it take to heal?
Since I am really skinny I really do not want to have to lose weight because I can not eat. My mom says it not so bad since she had all her teeth pulled out too. But that was many years ago so I am nervous. I am not worried about being toothless for a while since that is much better then have rotten teeth. I will just be happy with dentures then I do not have to go to the dentist any more.
So here is the issue I am having. I do not have dental insurance and do not work since I am on permanent disability. I was able to go to a dental clinic for a free cleaning and at they time they told me I needed to redo a filling I had because it was crack.
Since they are doing the dental work for free I let them redo the filling too. However ever since they did the filling I have been having a really bad toothache and can not sleep at night. I am not sure what to do because the waiting list to go back to the clinic is over a month. Please help
I have a friend who live in the Tennessee area and needs to have two teeth extractions done for a very cheap price. My friend does not have any dental insurance. However the two teeth in questions are really hurting her and she does not know of any place she can go to that would be cheap. Ned advise
I need some advise. A few months ago I bought a dental insurance plan for myself and my daughter who is ten. I picked the plan I did because it had my daughter’s dentist in their PPO network. Now my daugheter needs to have a two large size fillings done.
However the dental office staffing just told me that I do not have coverage for the filling needed for anoher three months. Do to some waiting periods. I did not know about any waiting periods. So I called my dental insurance company and was told that I have six motnhs on basic dental services and a twelve month waiting period for majors.
That means my daughter will not be able to get her filling for about another three months. Unless I pay for the cost out of my pocket. I am upset what is the point of having dental insurance if they make you wait for all your important dental needs. Who can I complain to about this?
I need to have some dental care. I have not seen the dentist in a very long time. I do not have any real teeth issues but I notice that my gums have been bleeding when I brush my teeth. Which is something that just started in about three weeks ago.
I first thought that my gums were bleeding because I had gotten a new toothbrush around the same time. So I did not think to much about it at the time. Now I am a little worried. I do not have a lot of extra money and I was told gum issues can be more expensive then teeth issues. Is that true? I not sure if I should give it more time and see if it stops or see a dentist and worry about a crazy dental bill.
I would also like to know how long should I wait before putting on the whitening strip after brushing my teeth? Can you offer any helpful advise on keeping my teeth white so that I do not have to use whitening strips to offten.
I had slightly yellowish teeth. So I went out and got crest whiten strips to help make them whiter. However now my teeth are really sensitive after only two treatments. Is that normal? Or should I stop using them? I have to do it for a week so the box says but I did not think it would make my teeth so sensitive.
I am seventeen right now and I have very horrible teeth. When I was younger I have to admit I did not have good oral hygiene. I was really bad at taking care of them but I am paying for that now. My teeth are very yellow and I even have some brown spots. They also are a little crooked that I would think braces should fix.
My mom will not do anything for my teeth beside fix a cavity and that is only if she has too. I can not really blame her because I had very bad baby teeth and she told me that I needed to start taking care of my teeth or she would not have them fixed. I was just a kid so I did not care back then. My parents paid out alot of money for my teeth care and now will not put any more money towards my teeth unless I am in very bad pain.
What can I do since I can not go to the dentist on my own? I hate my teeth and I hate to smile or laugh in frount of anyone. Please help I have total changed my ways and do take good care of my teeth but I feel without seeing a dentist, I am just too late to think brushing going help me now.
I have a dental insurance plan that lets me go to any dentist I want. I have no really complaints about my dental insurance. However the dentist I seem to have in my area are over priced and I get hit with UCR fees all the time. I am getting fed up with the dentist around here charging so much only because there are not too many dentist locally.
However there is a dental school that is about a twenty mintue drive from me and I am thinking that I would like to go there. Since I am told that dental school are normally much cheaper then general dentist anyway. My question is since I have insurance could I still go to a dental school and be covered. If so I know that I would not have to worry about UCR fee again.
I have bee putting up with this pain for the past few days now. My tooth and jaw are really hurting me now. I do not have dental insurance and can not afford to see the dentist. How can I get this pain to stop? It has gotten to the point where I can not sleep it hurt so much. There has to be something I can do to make this pain go away.

Okay so I do not recall burning the roof of my mouth so I know it is not that. But for the past two days there seems to be some sort of a sore on the roof of my mouth. I can not eat without it really hurting me. I can feel it with my tongue and it seems like it does have a different texture to it. I though it would be gone but it still hurts.
What can I do to stop the pain and what the heck can it be? Should I see a doctor or a dentist over this? Advise please.
