Getting dental insurance or going to a dental school
About a week ago one of my filling came out. Now I a have a big hole in my tooth. It does hurt to so I think it may have a new cavity or I may have cause more damage to the tooth when the filling came out. I have not been to the dentist for some time now so I am worried about cost.
I do not have dental insurance and I work a minimum wage job. Could I buy dental insurance that would not have waiting periods so I can have this tooth fixed at a low cost to me? Or would it be worth buying dental insurance at this point?
I look into this dental school not to far from me and they are more the half the cost of going to a general dentist in my area. However they say dental cost and very depending many different factors. So I really do not know how much it would cost me to go there until they see me. Not sure what to do go to a dental school or try to buy a low cost dental insurance plan.
