Dental braces, In your opinion if someone has an overbite, Is it unattractive?

I am 25 and I do have a big overbite.  Otherwise my teeth are straight and health.  I have really white teeth and I take very good care of my oral health.  I have been torn about getting braces to fix the overbite issue I have.  First my dental insurance I have will not cover for adult braces and even though I looked on line for a dental insurance plan that will I can not seem to find one

So getting braces would have to be paid by me in cash and that is costly for me right now.  However I worry that having the overbite as it is,  is making me unattractive which eats away at my self esteem.  Should I just pay for braces and deal with the cost or am I making up self upset over nothing and having a overbite is not all that bad?  What do you think?
