Dental Emergency Department Visits on the Rise in the United States
In the Journal of Public Health Dentistry May issue: Dental related emergency department visits are on the rise. Although still relatively small percentage of total emergency department visits both the number and the percentage of such a visits grew from 1997/98 to 2007/08. Young adult ages between 20-34 years old were most likely to present at an emergency department with a dental problem.
