Dental Opinions, Dental insurance for a newborn baby?
Question: My baby daughter only two months old. Right now she does not have any teeth yet. I can not add her to my current insurance plan though work until the next open enrollment with is not until March of next year. Should I buy her dental insurance right now or wait for March of next year to add her?
Answer: It is now highly recommended that a child to start seeing a dentist with in six to twelve months of age. However you do not need dental insurance in order to take your child to see a dentist. I would call some local dental office see what the cost would be to take your child to see them for a visit. Then average that out against buy dental insurance for short term.
