In cases like this, you may want to review dental HMO insurance plans. Most dental HMO plans do not have waiting periods. Therefore you are able to receive benefits for all covered dental services. Where as most PPO insurance plans do have waiting periods for both basic and major dental treatment, therefore they may not be the best dental insurance option when you have a current dental toothache issue.
