Dental Insurance Co-pay is more then my Health Insurance Co-pay
Really what is up with that? I have my health and dental insurance though my new job. Now that I got all my insurance information for my health and dental I notice that my Co-pay for the health is only 15.00 an office visit. However on my dental it is 20.00 per office visit at a general dentist and 35.00 at any specialist.
Is seems odd to me that dental has such a higher co-pay. I called the people that handle my insurance at work and they just said it is what it is. It was like they really did not care. To me by the time you pay your co-pay and the 20% the company does not pay for there really is not all that much of a savings. Is this normal?
