Dental Insurance care needed for gum treatments
My gums have been red and sore the past month. I last saw a dentist about eight months ago and all my teeth were fine but I was told that I should get a deep cleaning. However, without insurance they were quoting me over $400 to have the work done.
Which I did not do. After all my teeth were in good shape and I really did not see anything wrong with my gums. Now eight months latter my gums are red and sore when I brush and some times when I eat. Is this because I did not have the deep cleaning that was suggested to me? If so and I really need to have it done is there insurance for this so that it will cost much less the $400 that I still do not have.
