I can not take it anymore please help

My wife snores like a bear. The products that you can buy over the counter do very little to help stop her from snoring.  She is so bad that some nights I leave the room and sleep else were.  I heard that sometimes you can get some kind of gaurd at the dentist that works better then nose strips.  Anyone know if this is true?
